2007 is an important year for French politician, a bunch of ‘younger’ politicians dream to be the next French president… I spoke about DSK and his crap poster before! The subject of today is the use of the internet and the buzz by DSK.

A bit of background, DSK has been trapped by some journalists at the beginning of the month. As he didn’t know that his micro was on, his ‘spin doctor’ told him to buy the ‘Zidane il va frapper’ disc (a parody song of Zidane’s act of madness) for his grand child… and that’s what he did just after in front of the camera!

DSK reaction was quite clever because he did a parody of the parody: a song called ‘Strauss-Kahn il va gagner’ (Strauss-Kahn will win!) You can download the song on his blog!

I like his reaction, because he has truly understood how to use digital: he was the first French politician to have a blog in 2004, and as he knows that people will make fun about this trap he his proactive and does the buzz himself!

Anyway I agree that this will not make the political debate relevant…
