L’atelier des idees
I remember the TV ad last year which was all about generating and developing ideas, they’ve personalized ideas like this:
I really liked this campaign; it was turning the SNCF into an innovative and more modern company. I was waiting to their work online and I have to say that I am impressed! (again) The campaign they’ve developed online is bringing the ‘idea’ idea to life!
L’atelier des idees enables people to vote for their favourite idea. SNCF has mixed innovative idea such as:
Voting to have wifi in the stations
Voting to have more services/shops in the stations
Voting to have business rooms to work in the stations…
They are also building awareness about their new services:
Renting digital devices for a trip (PSP, DVD player…)
Having massages and sleeping kit
New TGV design by Christian Lacroix
Downloading podcasts (audiobooks) before a trip…
And here are my two favourite:
The first one enables people to use their mobile phone (via MMS) as a ticket and the second one is a creation of a community site. Basically this site allows people to register on the site before a trip and to find a travel buddy!
To conclude, I think that only one thing is missing, the site doesn’t let people generating ideas… Virgin train is doing this missing point with the Be inspired by time mini site which enables people to submit ideas…
