Well I think that the point I wanted to make here wasn’t people vs brand… but making the point that consumer are funnier than brands because they act in an authentic way. The next steps for brands are to build what John Grant now calls ‘marketing enthusiasm’ ideas and bring people at the center of the experience. The role of brand can be to recraft existing content i.e. Coke/Mentos or taping into people willingness to participate…
