Last weekend, I was doing my Christmas shopping in London and I was a bit surprised because none of the shops I went to were offering to do wrapping paper for the presents… They were even surprised when I asked them if they could provide me with some wrapping paper. So here is a nice idea some shops had in France. It’s quite established there that when you make a purchase, especially for Christmas, that the wrapping paper is offered and done by the staff. Most of the time it’s a store branded wrapping paper; not particularly beautiful. Some shops have invited charity association people to do the wrapping for Christmas and invite people to give some money for the service. Most of the time you get much nicer wrapping paper, and you’ve done a good deed. I am quite surprised that none of the English shops I went to have come up with a similar idea… Let me know if this actually exists and I will apologize to the whole English nation!

Hi Froggy
This service does indeed exist in some outlets, but definitely not everywhere. I’d certainly use it if more places offered it (I’m rubbish at wrapping!)
Cheers

Hi doug,
yeah I’ve finally seen a ‘wrapping station’ at Gap this weekend but it wasn’t a ‘charity one’!
As I am rubbish at wrapping and LAZY as well I’m hopping to see more places offering it!!
Cheers
