FN & Second Life

This is both scary and reassuring; the Front National (far right nationalist French political party) has opened a second life headquarters late in 2006. Thankfully the protests weren’t that long in coming and there is a lot of activism against the FN presence in SL. This is the reassuring bit I think, lots of people and not only French ones, protesting together against fascism and intolerance. The FN behaviour is actually quite ironic: this is a very nationalist party and they are opening an office in a global environment where people are doing business, having fun… no matter what their nationality is! The funniest or the saddest thing, is that FN activists are now shouting with gun any people who is demonstrating against the FN…
