Goodbye Gutenberg

I think that this is worth sharing this report with everyone (at least the readers of this blog!) I’ve discovered a link on Francis Pisani’s blog about a Nieman report (Harvard University) called ‘Goodbye Gutenberg’ dealing with the state of journalism in the age of the internet.
The report includes papers such as: ‘building communities’, ‘myths and realities of convergence’, ‘when the web feeds the newspaper’ and ‘journalism and web 2.0’.
The 42 articles discuss the challenges journalism is facing with the raise of new technologies; indeed journalism has been the most questioned profession since the explosion of web 2.0. If you want to have a flavour of this report you’d better have a read of this post first.
Enjoy.
