APG training network

I took part of the APG training network and presented our Tango case study at CHI last Wednesday. Here is an overview of the initial brief: “According to new research from ACNielsen, there was a 12% drop in fruit flavoured carbonate sales in the year to 30 July 2006 representing a £42 million drop.
Coca-Cola’s Fanta brand saw the biggest drop with sales dropping 12.1% or £17 million. However this brand retained its £127 million value.
Britvic’s Tango also faltered – posting an 18.8% year-on-year decline in sales meaning £9.6 million. Meanwhile, Panda Pop was down 40% in value terms to £2.3 million.”

We were tasked to:

Increase sales of this famous brand
We had permission to keep or change any of the following:
o Product formulation
o Range of products
o Packaging
o Brand targeting
o Brand proposition
However our decisions must be realistic (think £3m budget not £30m)

My mate Vincent did a great job and blogged about almost all the sessions we had (you can have a review at his different posts here). He asked the different groups to upload their presentation so we can see what’s everyone ideas were. You can have a look at our presentation below, I am conscious that the presentation hasn’t been designed to be read only so if you need any explanations you can drop me an e-mail or write a comment.
