Do the green thing
The green thing is an interesting way of motivating people to become more environmentally conscious. The site suggests you to try an easy green thing to do every month. It also enables you to see how other people are approaching the green thing thanks to a ‘twitter like’ application.
Other functionalities include a wiki to share green tips on energy, food, and transport… You can also download and/or upload podcast, video and picture if you want to fully participate to the adventure.
It’s quite interesting to see people from the ‘creative industry’ trying to have an impact on society and culture in a very philanthropic way! The void left by the lack of politic involvement, legal measures… can be partly filled by third parties initiatives. The aim here is still to develop a collective ‘green’ consciousness.
