La Fraise

Here is another one for my ‘T-shirt of the week’ category: La Fraise!

Read the paragraph below if you want to know more about the site’s concept.

“laFraise.com is Europe’s biggest T-Shirt design competition. Three to four designs are chosen every week from over 100 daily submissions to be printed and sold from the site. laFraise.com respects designers: our shirts are strictly limited to 500 per design for which winning designers get 1000 €!”

The idea is actually brilliant and I can’t wait for my T-shirt to arrive! (It’s the one on the left!)

I have a huge respect for this website because it is a lovely entrepreneurial idea and also because they have been pioneering the whole user generated content thing! Indeed the site has been launched in 2003… which was actually one year before Tim O’reilly coined the ‘web 2.0’ term!

Update: By the way, my slogan “This is not a T-shirt” has been accepted, and now it takes part of the slogan contest. You can vote for it here if you like it ;)
